Membership is open to all Community-based Organizations, Self-help groups, Women Groups and Youth Groups, as long as they are registered with the Gender and Social Service department at the county level, in the case of having not registered a letter from the area chief or CDA acknowledging the groups existence and that it has began the process of registration.

What are the requirements?

To become a member, organizations are required to provide:

• A certified copy of the certificate of registration

• 1 passport size photo of each of the top three officials

• Certified copies of each of their Identity Cards

• Current list of members

• Minutes expressing interest to register with the Council, and

• A duly filled application form in triplicate. Some applicants may qualify for a waiver
